TechDrummer is an endeavor to bring together Employers and Employees on an advanced (yet easy to use) platform in order to facilitate the process of seeking and applying for jobs at absolutely zero cost and inconvenience.
TechDrummer is a features rich Web 2.0 driven website customized & deployed literally overnight using FOSS.
Job Applications: For those seeking jobs, there is a one step procedure. Just click on Apply and upload your resume. Thats it! An email, with your uploaded resume as an attachment, would be sent out to the Job Poster.
Recruiters/Employers: Simply fill out the form describing the job, whether its fulltime/parttime/freelance, location of the job, and you are done!
NOTE: There is no lengthy registration or similar drama involved. (Even we hate that). Just browse the site and do what you have to do. Its quite straight forward and smooth.
FEATURES:
- RSS - Have the relevant jobs delivered to you in your favorite RSS readers - Sign up for RSS.
- EMAIL - Each job posting has "Send To Friend" feature that can be used to email a particular job to your friend.
- SPAM Prevention - I have integrated reCAPTCHA to prevent bots from spewing SPAM on the website. Sometimes the reCAPTCHA text is too vague to make sense. Fret not! Just hit the refresh button on the side of the box and a new word will appear. Keep refreshing until the text that makes sense appears.
- Editing or De-Activating A Job Post - Job Posters can edit the job or deactivate the job anytime using the links which are mailed to them when they post a job on the site.
