This is an experienced level position that researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies systems and/or software applications in compliance with Company standards. Plans system development and deployment. Evaluates hardware/software interfaces, operating requirements, documents, tests, maintains and modifies systems as
required. Prefer a BS with 2-4 or MS with 0-2 years of related experience. The Product Data Model is a repository for all product related information used for Shipbuilding. A sampling of data will include various types such as Engineering, Production and Logistical data. Duties will include developing workflows, rules, permissions, and requirements documentation. Will develop interfaces to external tools when applicable. Other responsibilities include creating, monitoring, maintaining accounts in the PDM tool, creating reports and providing customer support. Applicants should have fundamental knowledge and competency in Databases, SQL, and the C programming language.
Experience with Teamcenter Enterprise a plus. Secret security clearance is preferred or candidate should be able to qualify for one. Applicants that apply must have a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, concepts and techniques with general understanding of other related
disciplines.
Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems using imaginative and practical approaches consistent with organization objectives. Works under general direction, independently determines optimum solutions to achieve objectives.
