The BearingPoint Public Services Team is currently searching for a PLM Data Migration Technical Manager.

Performance Profile:
- *- Deputy lead for delivery of IT Solution and Solution Delivery Team that provides technical leadership
- *- Shares accountability with the Solution Delivery Manager for delivery in accordance with program level processes and procedures
- - Provides technical leadership to the program
/strong>to include business, systems and architecture design, development, and implementation - *- Accountable for ensuring compliance with program level Configuration Management and Release Management processes specific to technical deliverables
- *- Co-Manages delivery teams to include Infrastructure, PLM and ETL teams.
- *- Proactively identifies risks and develops mitigation strategies and contingency plans to lessen the impact of risks that are realized as issues
- *- Participates in the quality review of all program deliverables, program and milestone reviews and inter-group coordination meetings
- *- Supports identification and coordination of Solution delivery team staffing needs against resource requirements as detailed in the resource management plan
Position-specific Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in defining Data and Software capabilities available to recommend what tools can be leveraged to meet requirements. – 5+ years coordinating with Technical Leads to assure that there are crisp technical hand offs and summarizing their needs to leadership. – 5+ years working with technical, non-technical and management team members. – 5+ years experience facilitating, meditating, and when necessary directing technical decision across the ETL, PLM and Infrastructure teams
Position-specific Desired Skills: – Understanding of testing, requirements, addressing various issues – Familiarity with the requirements of firewall issues/infrastructure – Data modeling, data handling, exception reporting, fall out, warehousing concepts – Ability to raise flags on things across the environments and an ability to troubleshoot issues in the following realms:
o ETL (PL/SQL or INF) processes
o PLM set up, configuration (although he-*-s not a Tc expert, he could ask the questions on the types of protocols, security issues, etc. that could affect the operation/vulnerability of the application)
o Environment issues: although he didn-*-t set up the CIE, he dug into the troubleshooting of the websphere/weblogic issues when were at Gunter – Understanding the objectives of the PLM and the difference in architecture between Teamcenter 2005, 2007 and V8 – Understanding the hand-offs that have to take place and the risks of separating the environments between ETL and TeamCenter.
Logistics:
Up to 85% travel may be required.
