PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Technology Development Support provides our customers with Business Critical Development Support for Netweaver Technology Components:
- MaxDB, the SAP Database (including all tools)
- SAP LiveCache, SAP’s hybrid main-memory database including LiveCache Applications
- SAP interface and SAP tools for Oracle RDBMS
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Work in a global team with developers in Berlin/Germany and with Support Center colleagues around the globe
- Analyze customer configurations
- Provide support for complex customer environments
- Provide expert services for our American field organizations and participate in critical projects
- Participate in Weekend-On-Call rotation
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years Database Administration (preferably MaxDB or Oracle)
- 2+ years Experience with different operating systems, e.g. Windows, Linux, etc.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Ability to work well both independently and in an international team
- Desire and ability to permanently broaden your knowledge and to familiarize yourself with new areas
- Excellent analytical skills and efficiency in problem solving
- Excellent customer service skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of German is useful but is not a job requirement
