Job Description:
The Product Innovation (PI) & PLM group focuses on helping companies across various industries improve their product development roadmap, strategy, and processes to reduce product costs, development costs, and time to market while increasing product innovation and market share capture. Our PI/PLM practice is responsible for delivering product development strategies (organization, global footprint, cost management, processes, metrics), best practice methodologies, enabling technology solutions, and change management programs to help improve a company's product development operation.
Work independently in client facing situations as well as part of larger project teams in the design, development and implementation of new and improved business processes and enabling technology. Demonstrate understanding of core product development processes and best practices to help an organization improve outcomes. Typical process areas include:

Key responsibilities may include:
Works closely with business to understand as-is processes
Gathers and validates business requirements for PLM
Develops PLM functional designs that address business requirements
Creates and maintains user acceptance scripts
Conducts organizational change activities, including user training and stakeholder management
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years experience product development process experience in a consumer electronics or high tech company
Minimum 5 years of experience implementing PLM systems at a consumer electronics or high tech company
Minimum 2 years experience implementing solutions in the following PLM disciplines:
o Engineering change management,
o AML/ Part / Document management
o BOM management
o CAD data management (focus on Electrical CAD)
o Supplier integration
o Component management
Bachelors Degree
Preferred Skills:
Electrical engineering degree
Background in electronics
Worked on end to end PLM implementations
Professional Skills:
Strong analytical skills
Strong Teamcenter Unified knowledge (at least one Teamcenter Unified implementation)
Experience with Planning and Executing PLM Program Deployments using solutions from Agile-Oracle, Siemens, PTC, Dassault and / or SAP-PLM
Strong interpersonal skills - needs to interact and influence up to a Senior Director level
Strong communications and people management skills
International language/culture skills, experience working in Fortune 250 environment
